本文从我国媒体的市场化趋势谈起,指出中国新闻出版业的市场需求很大,但同时觊觎这个市场的资本正积极活动,准备加入这个行业的竞争。我国媒体要么提升自我,要么就被市场淘汰。笔者提出向西方主流媒体学习是提升我国媒体自身素质的捷径。通过对亚洲《华尔街日报》的几篇评论与报道的分析,指出西方媒体对读者信息需求的满足是其成功的基础。
This article starts with the marketization trend of our country’s media and points out that there is a great market demand in China’s press and publishing industry. At the same time, the capital in this market is being actively involved in the competition in this industry. China’s media either improve themselves or be eliminated by the market. The author proposes that learning from the mainstream media in the West is a shortcut to enhance the quality of our media. Through the analysis of several comments and reports from The Wall Street Journal in Asia, it points out that the satisfaction of the Western media for the information needs of readers is the basis for its success.
