在高二氮气一节课文中出现了NO_2溶于水后生成HNO_3并放出NO的反应。这一反应是学生不易接受的难点。在教学中我们增补了“NO的氧化和NO_2的溶解”的演示实验。目的在于让学生深入理解NO_2溶于水时,不同于SO_3等酸性氧化物溶于水时,只生成对应的酸,它在生成硝酸的同时,还要放出NO气体。这个实验还能帮助学生理解在硝酸的工业制法中,常在吸收反应过程中补充一些空气的道理。现在就把补充实验的装置、原理及操作简单介绍如下:
