1985年引进青,同芙蓉李、玉皇李、金黄李进行比较试验,对物候期、生长量、结实力、果实性状等进行观察、测定,其结果表明:青萌动早,落叶晚,生长期长,枝条生长量、冠幅均大于其它三个品种,三月上旬始花,三月下旬终花,结实早,平均单株产量是同龄玉皇李的1.33倍、金黄李的2.42倍、芙蓉李的9.68倍;青最大单果重145.4g,平均单果重94.5g,分别高于玉皇李54.9%、芙蓉李50.9%、金黄李253.30%,果肉厚、核小,可食率达98.5%,含可溶性固形物13.27%,全糖3.32%,蛋白质0.493%,总酸度0.45%。
