位于湘鄂交界的东山峰磷矿,是我国南方晚震旦世磷块岩建造中的一个大型层状磷块岩矿床。东山峰磷矿在矿层赋存部位、含磷岩系岩性组合、古地理条件、沉积环境、成矿机理等方面,与区域内同层位的其它磷矿既有相同之处,又有不同的特点。这里着重从东山峰磷矿杨家坪矿段的地质特征,分析该磷矿的相旋回建造及成矿机理。一、含磷岩系特征及沉积相 (一)岩矿石的结构及沉积构造东山峰磷矿赋存于震旦系上统陡山沱组上部,下距冰碛层400米左右。含磷岩系属碳酸盐岩相,厚度20—153米,一般为70—80米,由炭泥质白云岩、含磷白云岩、白云
