July 3, 2011, the Department of Language and Information Management of the Ministry of Education, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Language and the Commercial Press co-sponsored by the “Chinese and Foreign Linguists and Scholars Association - Second Academic Forum” at the Commercial Press Auditorium is held. The theme of this forum is “Teaching Chinese Linguistics in China: Past, Present and Future.” Forty-two famous linguists from North America, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, Mainland China attended the forum.
