《圣经》对于欧洲各民族语言的形成有着深远影响,《圣经》中的许多训诫不仅是对基督徒的道德伦理规范和要求,而且对于基督教文化圈以外的人们也同样适用。欧洲语言中有大量格言警句来源于《圣经》,它们或励志,或警诫,家喻户晓,广泛见于欧洲各国语言之中。因此,掌握《圣经》语言及文化,方能掌握欧洲语言文化的精髓。
The Bible has a profound influence on the formation of the languages of all nations in Europe. Many of the precepts in the Bible are not only moral norms and requirements for Christians, but also for people outside the Christian cultural circle. A large number of aphorisms in European languages are derived from the Bible, they are either inspirational or cautionary, and are widely known in many European languages. Therefore, mastering the Bible language and culture can we master the essence of European language and culture.
