Ecofeminism affords a brand-new perspective of pondering the causes of ecological crisis and solutions to diversified environmental problems by revealing the intrinsic link between nature and females, aiming to promoting females significant role in this respect and to achieve the dual goal of the liberation of them two. The thesis is written to analyze the messages implicitly conveyed in the official video produced and published by the UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) on World Envi-ronment Day in 2015 from the perspective of ecofeminism. It reveals that the male-dominated industrialization engenders severe ecological crisis and environmental problems, while their female counterparts tend to have a stronger connection with nature and devote themselves to alleviate ecological problems.
