一九九四年底至一九九五年中旬,在故宫博物院举办、由刘九庵先生主持的《全国赝品书画展览》中,有一本款署明代王宠的小楷书《五忆歌、临黄庭经合册》,笔画遒丽,字型呈现欹侧状,具有晋唐小楷意味,乍观此书颇类王宠小楷书法。然而这件作品却是王宠小楷书法中最具特色的,也是流传下来为数最多的伪品代表作之一。
