《普通高中英语课程标准》(以下简称《标准》)指出:“高中英语课程应该全面提高人文素养。”《标准》中的“人文素养”既包括心灵、情感和品行方面,也包括学习方式、学习情境和课堂气氛。美国教育家帕克·帕默尔明确提出:“把教学缩减为纯智能的,它就是冷冰冰的、抽象的;把教学缩减为纯情感的,它就成了自我陶醉;把教学缩减为纯精神的,它就丧失了现实世界之根基。”高中英语教师应该将这三者有机结合起来,以此打造充盈着浓浓人文
