兜兰(Paphiopedilum)又名拖鞋兰。它的花比较雅致,不像卡特兰那样华丽。色彩较稳重,变化不多,有白、浅绿、黄、粉红、紫红、红褐及不同粗细的黑褐色条纹和斑点等。花瓣较厚,花朵寿命很长,有时种可在高温环境中开放1个半月。并且一年四季都有开花的种类。兜
