中国戏曲学院离休干部王誉之同志,因病医治无效,于1994年10月27日11时45分在京逝世,享年86岁.王誉之同志,原名树春,山东掖县(今莱州市)午城前王家村人,生于1908年4月4日(清光绪三十四年农历戊申年三月初四日).自幼刻苦攻读,学有所成;1931年于东北大学交通系肄业,同年归里,秉承父志,联合周围十三村开办午城小学,普及乡村教育;又以父名创办了文彬女子小学,动员乡里适龄女孩读书.他出任两校校长,并亲自执教.为改变家乡面貌,使贫苦子弟都能上学,学校免收学费,而且供给书本文具.在校学生最多时达到350余名,教学成绩斐然.随着学校的发展,办校经费逐增,他不借变卖自家的房产土地,集资投入办学,而膺“破产兴学”之誉.当时山东省教育厅长何思源特赠“乐育英才”匾额;于右任也书联“江湖见天大,丝竹感人深”为贺.
