今年1月17日,中华人民共和国主席江泽民根据全国人民代表大会常务委员会的决定,任命孙振宇为中华人民共和国常驻世界贸易组织代表、特命全权大使,兼任中华人民共和国常驻联合国日内瓦办事处和瑞士其他国际组织副代表。孙振宇在外经贸部工作已超过20年。他于1946年3月出生于河北省丰润县。1969年7月参加工作,毕业于北京外国语学院英语系,高级经济师。
On January 17 this year, President Jiang Zemin of the People’s Republic of China, in accordance with the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, appointed Sun Zhenyu as the Permanent Representative of the People’s Republic of China to the World Trade Organization, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, and Permanent Resident Representative of the People’s Republic of China to the United Nations in Geneva and Switzerland Deputy representatives of other international organizations. Sun Zhenyu has worked in the MOFTEC for more than 20 years. He was born in March 1946 in Fengrun County, Hebei Province.
