Under the leadership of Pankratova in 1976, the Family and Daily Life Research Laboratory at the Institute of Sociology at the Academy of Sciences inquired about the eighth graders and their parents at five secondary schools in the Cheremoshkin District. Research shows that young people have a lot of free time. Of the 230 adolescents, 47% said they spend their free time with friends on the streets, in the courtyard or at a peer at their place of residence while their parents are away from home.
