Adsorption of molybdenum from a process solution of PH = 3 to 4 with BП-1 type anion exchanger led to the phenomenon that iron and copper impurities contained in the solution were diverted together with molybdenum to the ion exchanger. Subsequent washing of the saturated resin with acidified water at pH ≈ 0.75 leads to the separation of 50-60% iron and 98-100% copper. In this paper, the regularity of adsorption of molybdenum with pH = 3-4 and higher acidity is studied to determine the possibility of reducing the impurity adsorption.
