在南京土木建筑测试中心的要求和支持下,在宝应电子研究所的配合下,在本院多年研制电动式激振器经验的基础上,又成功的研制出激振力为40公斤的激振器和相应的500功率放大器。为了大幅度地减小激振器本身的重量和体积,该激振器上采用了超强磁材料——钕铁硼。在研制过程中,解决了磁路计算、充磁技术和工艺装配等一系列技术问题,使能发出40公斤激振力的 WFB-4激振器的重最小到20公斤,体积亦大大减小,比出力20公斤的 JZQ-7型激振器的重量(23公斤)还要轻,体积还要小。该激振器和相应的功率放大器的性能如下表。
