随着现代科学技术的发展,黄金的应用范围有着迅速的扩大,因此,在我国四化建设中对黄金的需要亦必然与日俱增,为了满足其所需,必须加强金的找矿方向、找矿方法和地球化学性质的研究。金是亲铜元素,常与一些硫化物共生。由于金的电离势很高,所以其化学性质稳定,易还原成原子,因此金在地壳中的平均含量虽然很低,但它在自然界却有较为广泛的分布。金也常与锑、铋共生,这与金的化学性质有关。金的原子半径为1.44×10~(-10)米,这与银的原子半径一样,因此我们可以常见金和银能以任何比例形成合金。
