由广播电影电视部委托中国广播电视学会主办的1990年度全国优秀电视社教节目评选,1991年6月21日至6月30日在山西省太原市举行。参加这次评选活动的有30个单位,选送参评节目175个,分属社政类、文教类、知识类和服务类。经过由专家、学者和部分电视台社教部主任组成的评委会的认真审看、评议,评出获奖节目142个,其中一等奖25个,二等奖46个,三等奖71个。为了鼓励各电视台进一步办好社教栏目,本次评选增设了优秀栏目奖,评出6个优秀栏目:“神州风采”(中央电视台)、 The 1990 National Excellent Television and Socialist Education Program, which was commissioned by the Radio, Film and Television Department and entrusted by the China Broadcasting and Television Institute, was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province from June 21 to June 30, 1991.
