河南省舞钢市境内的石漫滩水库,位于淮河重要支流洪河上游,始建于1951年4月,是建国后国家兴建的第一座大型水库。水库建成后效益十分显著。在防洪方面,保护了下游5个县近200万亩耕地免受洪水灾害;存灌溉方面,发展灌溉面积达8.5万亩,其中水稻4万多亩;在工业方面,为舞阳钢铁公司、舞阳铁矿及地方工业提供了水源保障。 1975年8月,一场历史上罕见的特大暴雨,造成水库因洪水漫溢坝顶而溃决,至今已16年之久。水库冲毁后,原灌区的旱涝保收农田每遇干旱都大幅度减产;工矿企业用水和城市生活用水,均由抽取地下水解决,致使舞钢市地下水位平均下降4～6米,造成了新的人畜饮水困难,也使部分农田水利设施报废。据1989年在工业抽水的井群调查,该区9个行政村、34个自然村、70个村民组的农用机井85
Located in the upper reaches of the Honghe, an important tributary of the Huaihe River, Shimanan Reservoir in the territory of Wugang City, Henan Province was founded in April 1951 as the first large-scale reservoir built by the nation after its founding. After the completion of the reservoir benefit is very significant.
