如果说,五四运动高扬爱国主义的旗帜,以反帝反封建的斗争精神唤起了中华民族的大觉醒;那么,为了实现中华民族的和平崛起而进行的改革开放事业,高扬的同样是爱国主义旗帜。如果说,五四运动中的中国青年只能通过呼唤民主与科学来表达自己的爱国之情与报国之志;那么,改革开放时期,中国青年则是以主动积极的创新精神践行民主与科学,让爱国之情与报国之志得到空前的释放与燃烧。
