随着移动通信技术的发展,迅速增加的业务量和越来越紧张的频谱资源之间的矛盾越来越突出,为了解决这一矛盾,3G中采用了一种关键技术——智能天线技术,智能天线可以在现有频谱资源的基础上,最大限度地提高频谱利用率,增加通信容量,进而提高通信质量。本文介绍了智能天线的原理与优势,并简单阐述了其在下一代移动通信中的应用。
With the development of mobile communication technology, the contradiction between the rapidly increasing traffic volume and more and more intense spectrum resources becomes more and more prominent. In order to solve this contradiction, a key technology in 3G is adopted, namely smart antenna technology, Based on existing spectrum resources, smart antennas can maximize spectrum utilization, increase communication capacity and improve communication quality. This paper introduces the principle and advantages of smart antenna, and briefly describes its application in the next generation of mobile communications.
