自从党指出学术界目前存在着严重的“厚古薄今”倾向以后,引起学术界很大的注意,正在展开热烈的讨论。我们四中历史组的同志们,最初认为这是学术研究工作上或高等学校教学上的问题,在中学历史教学里,并不存在这个问题。即或存在,问题也不大。理由是我们中学历史课程已经是详今略古了。我们大多数中学教师都是根据教学大纲、课本进行教学的,根本不可能随便任自己厚薄来讲课,也很少有人作专题研究工作,哪有什么厚薄的问题呢?如果说教材有厚古簿今问题,责任也不应由教师负。后经双反运动教师
