关于吐蕃的官制问题,中外藏史学者已有不少著作问世,但对当时仕蕃汉人的官职、品位、职能以及在仕蕃官制体系中的地位和作用的研究,还很少有宏文深论。弄清这个问题,对研究吐蕃王朝的经济政治制度、汉藏民族关系和唐蕃文化交流,无疑都有着十分重要的意义。P·T·1089号卷子是关于吐蕃地方官职品位序列和任命名单的一份档案记录,具体说是对沙州官位和名单的记录。它是我们研究吐蕃王朝在其军事占领区设置的政治、经济制度和机构以及仕蕃汉官的品位、职责的珍贵资料。本文就这一卷子作出一些探索性分析,厚望于专家指教。 当时在唐封建王朝与吐蕃奴隶制政权相互关系的发展过程中,既有和平共处、友好往来的睦邻时期,又有兵戎相见、甥舅反唇的交恶时期。这种特殊的历史条件影响到蕃人仕唐的官阶与人数。见于史传的仕唐蕃官,据《资治通鉴》载:
