《耐药性》(Drug Resistance)是一本读者群为12岁以上青少年的科普读物。科普文体的特点兼具科学性和文学性,在翻译方面注重用通俗、生动、易懂的语言向大众宣传和普及科学技术知识。科普读物的翻译标准和要求不同于科技文体,特别是当读者群为青少年时,就对译者提出了更高的要求。《耐药性》译文需具有通俗性,才能使青少年更好得看懂科普读物。
Drug Resistance is a popular science book for teenagers over the age of 12. The characteristics of science popularization are both scientific and literary. In the aspect of translation, publicity and popularization of science and technology knowledge are publicized and popularized in popular, vivid and understandable languages. The standards and requirements for the translation of popular books are different from those of science and technology, especially when readers are young people, they put forward higher requirements on translators. The translation of “drug resistance” needs to be popular in order to make young people better understand popular science books.
