由于口腔临床摄影具有特殊性,其器材选择也具有明显的特殊性。在学习临床摄影基本技术之前,选择一套适宜的、能够满足临床要求的摄影器材至关重要。从感光元件大小、镜头性能、闪光灯位置等因素考虑,拍摄规范的口腔临床影像需要采用数码单反相机系统。数码机身并不需要追求很高级别,微距镜头一般选择100mm焦段,拍摄手术术中照片时可选用180mm焦段,许多情况下应用60mm焦段的镜头拍摄效果不佳。微距闪光灯是必需的配件,环形闪光灯可以适应各种拍摄需求,双头闪光灯在某些情况下拍摄较为困难。
