学生从直观形象地认识分数上升到抽象的分数意义,必须弄清楚以下几点:首先,认识到分数是一个数,是一个抽象的数,任何一个分数都是对单位“1”而言,已经脱离了具体的量;其次,分数表示部分和整体的关系;最后,分数表示两个自然数相除的商,分数还表示两个量之间的关系,在分数带有单位名称时,又表示具体的量。凡此种种,都需要理解和掌握分数的意义。分数的意义弄清楚了,分数大小的比较、分数和除法的关系等,就容易理解了。
