1 Introduction The study of rare earth organic compound fluorescence system has become a very active area of research, the reports are increasing. In this paper, the fluorescence characteristics and influencing factors of terbium, dysprosium-p-hydroxybutyric acid (TOPO) -Triton X-100 system were studied in detail. The study found synergism in the system in the presence of the non-ionic surfactant Triton X-100
