许多年前,我们将不断提高刊物的质量当做儿童期刊生存和发展的充分必要前提,现在看来,这种思考和做法仍然存在着积极的意义。但是,在书、报、刊等各种媒体空前繁荣的今天,仅仅依靠刊物自身的内在质量来抢占阅读领域的制高点,已显得十分不够。这是因为,儿童刊物的内在质量仅仅是具体的行业评价尺度,对幅面广大、变易频繁的阅读群体而言,这个尺度只能是一个基本尺度,在当前五光十色的信息和知识社会中,它已不能承担起期刊
