在中国流行并已成为一种文论传统的文艺理论中,文学被权威性地界定为“用形象反映社会生活”的“语言艺术”。认为反映社会生活的意识形态可以有很多,而文学处身其中的艺术与其他意识形式的最根本的区别就是在于它的“形象性”。所以“形象”成了文学艺术的关键性标志,毛泽东还在谈到诗歌的问题时提出了“形象思维”的命题。一段时间内,人们对“形象思维”津津乐道,似乎只要将生活以“形象”作表现,文学所该做的事情便都完成了。
In the literary theory that has prevailed in China and has become a tradition of literary theory, literature is defined by authority as the “language art” that “uses images to reflect social life.” There are many ideologies that can reflect social life. The most fundamental difference between art and other ideologies in which literature is located lies in its “image.” Therefore, “image” has become the key symbol of literature and art. Mao Zedong also raised the proposition of “imagery thinking” when it comes to poetry. In a period of time, people relish about “thinking in terms of image”. It seems that as long as life is represented by “image,” all things that literature should do are completed.
