中国共产党建党初期仅有几十名党员,今天则拥有6500多万名党员,而且从领导人民为夺取全国政权而奋斗发展成为领导人民掌握全国政权并长期执政的党,党所面临的形势和任务发生了根本性变化。面对新的形势、新的矛盾、新的任务,党的十六大报告强调:要“加强党的执政能力建设,提高党的领导水平和执政水平”。这是时代赋予我们党的艰巨任务,是党的建没新的伟大工程的重要内容。 At the beginning of the founding of the Communist Party of China, there were only a few dozen party members and today there are more than 65 million party members.
