钱基博(1887-1957),字子泉,别号潜庐,江苏无锡人,现代著名古文大家、文史专家和教育家。历任私立上海圣约翰大学、国立北京清华大学、私立上海光华大学、私立无锡国学专门学校、国立浙江大学、湖南国立师范学院、私立武昌华中大学等高校国文系教授,或兼系主任、文学院长等职;全国解放后一直担任华中师范学院(即今华中师范大学)历史系教 Qian Jibo (1887-1957), Zi Zi Quan, alias Qian Lu, Jiangsu Wuxi, modern well-known classical Chinese, literature and history experts and educators.
