王齐翰《挑耳图》所震示的仪式活动,是在整个南唐社会统治权力阶层社会仪式文人化的基础上形成的。一方面画家个体以及艺术形式与笔墨技法倾向文人化,文人取得了艺术崇尚的话语权;另方面艺术展示的图像仪式所表达的文人的生活情趣、娱乐爱好、心胸意趣等,逐渐成为文人社会行为仪式的标准,且作为仪式展示的范本流传。
