无论在中学还是在大学的英语教科书中,每课的内容很多,有语音语调、词汇短语、语法、句型、课文、练习等等。在如此众多的项目中,课文教学是英语课堂教学的中心,这是由课文的重要性所决定的。 首先,课文是教材的中心,是学生掌握英语的关键。课文是教学语言知识和进行听、说、读、写综合训练的主要材料。而其他内容包括词汇、浯法、句型、练习等都是围绕课文这一中心内容而编写的辅助材料。《中学英语教学大纲》指出:“课文综合体现了学生所学的语法和词汇,是对学生进行听、说、读、写、译综合训练的材料。”掌握好了课文这一中心环节,就能自然而然地触类旁通,学好其他内容,在活动的语流中自然地掌握单词、词组、成语、句子的实际用法,克服孤立地记单词和语法规则的弊病。
There are many contents of each lesson in English textbooks of middle school and university. There are phonetic transcriptions, vocabulary phrases, grammar, sentence patterns, texts, exercises and so on. Among so many projects, text teaching is the center of English classroom teaching, which is determined by the importance of the text. First of all, the text is the center of teaching materials, is the key to students to master English. Text is the main material of teaching language knowledge and comprehensive training of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Other content, including vocabulary, law, sentence patterns, exercises and so on are the core content of the text prepared by the auxiliary materials. The Syllabus for Middle Schools states: “The text comprehensively reflects the grammar and vocabulary learned by the students and is a comprehensive material for students' listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating.” Having mastered this key aspect of the text, It can naturally be used as a by-pass, learning other contents, and naturally grasping the actual usage of words, phrases, idioms and sentences in the activity's flow of words, and overcoming the shortcomings of isolated words and grammatical rules.
