Objective: To investigate the effect of radical resection combined with bio-immunotherapy on the survival and prognosis of patients with gastric cancer. Methods: The clinical data of 56 patients with gastric cancer undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy were analyzed retrospectively. The patients were divided into observation group (n = 31) and control group (n = 25) by bioimmunotherapy or radiotherapy and chemotherapy after operation. Group patients underwent laparoscopic radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer with bioimmunotherapy, while patients in control group underwent laparoscopic radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer. Two groups of patients were observed and compared the short-term efficacy and complications after treatment, using Kaplan-Meier method to calculate the two-year survival rate of patients with gastric cancer and two-year recurrence rate. Results: The total effective rate in the observation group was 64.52%, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (52.00%) (P <0.05). In the observation group, the leukopenia, erythrocyte decline, gastrointestinal reaction, liver and kidney (P <0.05). The 2-year survival rate of the observation group was 83.87%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (72.00%, P <0.05) . The recurrence rate in observation group was 25.81% at 2 years after operation, which was significantly lower than that in control group (56.00%, P <0.05). Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of bioimmunotherapy in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer after radical operation of gastric cancer is definite, which can effectively improve the survival rate and reduce the recurrence after radical operation.
