芭芭拉·史翠姗(BarbraStreisand),西方乐坛一位多才多艺的歌、影、戏剧巨星,从60年代开始,延续数十载而屹立不倒,在喜新厌旧的西方娱乐圈也算是一个奇迹了。史翠姗1942年4月24日生于纽约,家庭的不幸使她15岁就踏入社会,早熟和生活的压力使她形成刚强的个性,成名后张扬的脾气也使她得罪不少人。她干过不少杂活,60年代初开始在百老汇崭露头角,1964年主演了杰出舞台剧“Funny Girl”(滑稽女郎)成为一位百老汇巨星,4年后凭同名电影勇夺奥斯卡影后称号。代表作还有“The Way We Were”(往日情怀)、“A Star Is Born”(星梦泪痕)以及自编自导自演的“Yentl”(燕特儿)等。
Barbra Streisand, a talented Western singer-songwriter, film and theater superstar, has been standing still for decades in the 60’s and is a miracle in the newly-revived Western entertainment industry. Stetson was born in New York on April 24, 1942. The unfortunate family made her 15 years old and stepped into society. The pressure of precocious life and her life led her to form a strong personality. After being fame, her temper also offended many people. She has done a lot of mischief and started to emerge on Broadway in the early 1960s. In 1964 she starred in the outstanding play “Funny Girl” as a Broadway star and four years later won the Oscars with the film of the same name. Representatives include “The Way We Were” (past feelings), “A Star Is Born” (Star dream tears) and self-directed self-proclaimed “Yentl” (Yan Teer) and so on.
