党的十一届三中全会以来,江苏省自然科学技术期刊出版事业有了较大的发展.1984年9月江苏省委决定,全省自然科学技术期刊由江苏省科学技术委员会(以下简称省科委)党组负责审批和管理.几年来,期刊的宏观管理取得了一定的成绩.经过1985、1986、1990年三次整顿,江苏省现有自然科学技术期刊174种,按全国各省、市、自治区排序居第四位,发表论文数1989年为7437篇,居第三位.现将有关管理的组织、措施、活动等情况作简要介绍.
