选用优良品种和搞好良种繁育工作,是实现烤烟优质稳产的重要途径和有效措施。品种代表了作物获得经济性状的潜在能力,不同的品种由于遗传组成上的差异,产生了完成本身生育过程对环境要求的特异性,以及在相同条件下不同的生产能力。这就要求我们在烤烟生产中,选育适合本地条件的优良品种,同时,在栽培过程中,还要千方百计创造条件来满足品种发挥优良种性对环境的要求,良种配以良法,才能充分发挥增产增质的作用。
