采矿及地质工作者工作的主要对象就是岩石,自然界的岩石,又是各种各样的矿物集合体,物理机械性質极其复杂,是非均质各向异性的物質。不同种类的岩石,所表示出对凿岩爆破、采掘、稳定性等等技术指标也不一样,为了合理的进行生产活动,提高采矿工业的劳动生产率,我們必须对岩石进行科学的分类。一岩石分类的各种方法由于岩石性质和生产过程的复杂,岩石分类的方法也是多种多样的,每种分类方法考虑的主要技术因素也各异,概括主要的是根据以下三个原則进行: 1.按岩石物理性質和力学性質 原則划分的岩石分类方法: 普氏、莫氏、罗芝沃勒、列依蒙特、博基、秦巴列維奇等人的分类方法,都属于此类岩石分类方法。普氏利用岩石抽象的坚固性系数(f)把岩石划分为10級。莫氏、罗芝沃勒的岩石分类法,都是选取某些单一的矿物为标准条痕,把岩石分为10級。列依蒙
