This article briefly introduces the XG1 slit-type high-speed camera shutter. In this shutter, the mechanism for switching the light path is a pair of electromagnetically-controlled, spring-driven, thin steel sheets. The time it takes for the shutter to open and close is controlled by electronic circuitry. The time it takes for the shutter to fully open (or the signal to close) from the solenoid is about 3.5 milliseconds and the data repeatability error is ± 0.02 milliseconds, electronically controlled The circuit determines the shutter open time can be arbitrarily selected within 5 ~ 100 milliseconds. The paper also makes a theoretical analysis of the mechanical electromagnetic part of the shutter, and obtains the shortest time when the shutter electromechanical part is turned on or off. The effective measures to improve the shutter speed are pointed out.
