In just 29 days, with a voyage of 6,500 kilometers, the brothers Emmanuel and Maximilian Berk crossed the Atlantic by driving a small boat without any navigational equipment. This pair of inseparable French twins adopted the primitive craftsmanship of the Maori on Pacific islands and designed and built a small boat in their own barn named “Micro-giant No.3”, guided by the guidance of the sun, moon, waves and stars , Driving it across the Atlantic. Their performance surpassed the Norwegian navigator Tor Heldar’s “Kontiki” radio and navigational equipment (see Issue 5 of this issue): Not only did not use electronic equipment, no sextant, or even no Watch, there is no commercial sponsorship. They departed the Canary Islands on March 31 and arrived on the Antilles on April 27 at an average speed of 5 knots (ie, 5 nautical miles per hour) on a planned schedule on the island of Désirade Abandoned boat landing.
