IL-1β是机体免疫反应和炎症反应中一种重要调节剂.由无活性的IL-1β转变为有活性的IL-1β需要IL-1β转化酶的作用.该文报道用人IL-1β转化酶cDNA从小鼠巨噬细胞cDNA文库中获取IL-1β转化酶cDNA并对该基因进行分析的结果.先以人IL-1β转化酶cDNA为探针,在非严格杂交条件下同某些小鼠巨噬细胞株RNA作Northern杂交,证实小鼠巨噬细胞可表达IL-1β转化酶mRNA.随后应用同一探针作菌落原位杂交,从小鼠巨噬细胞cDNA文库中筛选出三个阳性克隆,这三个克隆有互相重叠的核酸序列,最长的序
