思想政治教育是立足现实又面向未来的教育实践活动,导向功能是思想政治教育的重要功能。人的需要的发展是人的发展的重要维度,二者是内在统一的。引导人的需要发展是实现思想政治教育导向性的内在基础。人的需要的发展具有盲目性需要加以引导。要正确处理好物质需要与精神需要、高级需要与低级需要以及个人需要和社会需要的关系。
