有关煤矿床评价,勘探方法及其实例的论文在《第三届国际煤炭会议论文集》中数量上占首位,各种物探的研究与实践次之,对煤层气勘探种评价方法的探讨则是本届会议新增的内容,也占有较大的比重,其中一种煤层气埋藏量计算方针颇为实际,值得重视。勘探手段方面,着重介绍了井下层内地震和水平钻孔探测盘区,工作面前方小型构造的实验成果,由此可见困外对生产勘探的重视及其发展的某种趋势。
