构建和谐社会是在党的十六届四中全会提出来的,是我国在新的时代背景下的重大任务,在改革开放和现代化建设的伟大实践中有重要的意义。媒体作为党和人民群众沟通的桥梁,在构建和谐社会的过程中有不可替代的重要作用,本文主要从新闻媒体的功能角度论述新闻报道对构建和谐社会的特殊意义。 Building a harmonious society was put forward at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee, a major task for our country under the new background of the new era, and it is of great significance in the great practice of reform and opening up as well as the modernization drive. As a bridge between the party and the masses of the people, the media plays an irreplaceable and important role in the process of building a harmonious society. This paper mainly discusses the special significance of news coverage in building a harmonious society from the perspective of the functions of the news media.
