白寿彝先生生于1909年,现在是2009年,正是白先生的百年冥诞。先生逝世于2000年,今年又是先生逝世10周年。为此,本刊刊出6篇文章,作为对先生的纪念。《云南教胞在历史上的贡献》,原载1940年云南《清真铎报》新1号;《番长司与怀圣寺》,原载1945年云南《清真铎报》新19、20号;《评〈中国伊斯兰史纲要〉》,原载1947年云南《清真铎报》新36号。以上三文由昆明地方志办公室马颖生先生搜集提供,谨致谢忱。第四、五篇为李松茂先生、李华英先生回忆白先生的文章。第六篇是对白先生《史学遗产六讲》的评论。
