Jazz was a form of music that originated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and popularized in the southern United States. At the beginning of its formation, Jazz was an important way for Southern Americans to express their own life and emotions. Jazz is generally improvised, unrestrained music, light and lively, with some of the characteristics of modern music. In more than a century of development, jazz changed its form and style many times, each time the development and change have infused new content. Jazz originated in New Orleans in the United States in the late 19th century. Its prototype is a song sung by black people in their work. This song contains the rhythms of western Africa, harmonies of Europe and the gospel singing method of the United States. Among them, Leggett and Bruce are the two main forms of early jazz music. Leggett is a versatile segmented rhythm, where formal accents are preceded or delayed, and the piano is the main form of musical instrument. mine
