水仙花素洁的花朵超尘脱俗,高雅清香,格外动人,宛若凌波仙子踏水而来。元程棨《三柳轩杂识》谓水仙为花中之“雅客”。或许艺术家宿利群之所以描绘水仙,或许就被水仙自身的纯洁所打动。在这个系列的作品中,宿利群将水仙花的纯洁与古代瓷器结合在一起,整个画面给人一种清新雅致的韵味。
