通过对402种科技期刊条形码信息准确性调查统计,结果表明:98.3%的期刊均按国标要求印有条形码标识;期刊条形码中年份码信息平均正确率仅14.9%,其中高校学报的平均正确率达29.6%,而理工类和农业类期刊的平均正确率分别为11.7%和10.7%,上海市出版的期刊平均正确率最高达70.8%;期刊条形码的附加码信息含义不明确,其中18.0%的期刊附加码无实际含义,50.4%的期刊表示出版月份,31.6%的期刊表示出版期次序数。故提出附加码应明确标识期刊的出版期次序数和国家条码中心统一指定条码制作软件、期刊主办单位自主制作条形码之建议,并介绍了期刊条形码的计算机制作过程。
According to the investigation of the accuracy of barcode information of 402 kinds of scientific and technical journals, the results showed that 98.3% of journals were printed with barcode according to the requirements of national standard. The average correct rate of the year code information in periodical barcode was only 14.9%, of which the average correct rate 29.6%, while the average correct rates of science and agricultural periodicals were 11.7% and 10.7% respectively. The average correct rate of periodicals published in Shanghai was 70.8%. The implication of additional code information of periodical barcode was not clear, of which 18.0% Additional codes have no real meaning, with 50.4% of the journals indicating the month of publication and 31.6% of the journals indicating the sequence number of the publication. Therefore, it is proposed that the additional code should clearly identify the sequence number of the periodicals published in the periodical and the barcode creation software uniformly designated by the state barcode center. The organizer of the journal shall make its own proposal of making barcodes and introduce the computer production process of the periodical barcodes.
