English is a cosmopolitan, auxiliary language with multiple uses. The need for oral English communication has become so pressing that as an English teacher, we should think carefully about how to improve students’ listening proficiency. This article will present a series of new pedagogical methods of listening that stimulate students’ interest and effectiveness.
