Many researchers often talk about the best effect of certain parameters in the gold leaching process of cyanidation when they are devoted to improving the gold ore processing technology. Depending on the operating conditions and the composition of the gold ore minerals, the results they obtain are varied. Although the gold extraction process has been significantly improved in Canada’s cyanide plant in recent years, the optimization of the process is still under study. To this end, many studies have been conducted to illustrate the role of certain important parameters of the cyanidation gold extraction process and to develop an effective pharmaceutical system for gold processing plants. This paper presents the results of a laboratory study involving two medium refractory ores and an analysis of the relationship between “free” cyanide concentration, dissolved oxygen and lead nitrate, The relationship between dissolution rate, leaching rate of gold and cyanide consumption, as well as the effect of gold dissolution rate, gold leaching rate and cyanide consumption, are discussed. Cyanide consumption was reduced by a factor of two to three compared with the factory’s production target, while gold dissolution rate was tripled.
