利用四川主要栽培豆类菜豆（Phaseolusvulgaris）和饭豆（P.angularis）种子作饲料，在20、24、28、32、36℃五种温度和相对湿度90％条件下．对巴西豆象（Zabrotessubfasciatus）进行比较研究，结果表明，两种豆子均能使巴西豆象完成生活史，菜豆更有利于巴西豆象生长发育和繁殖。
Phaseolus vulgaris and P.angularis seeds were used as feedstuffs in five temperature and relative humidity conditions of 20, 24, 28, 32 and 36 ℃.
